The dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit is a water treatment device that achieves solid-liquid separation through the principle of “microbubble adsorption.” Its core components include a dissolved air system, a diffuser, a flotation tank, and a skimmer. By introducing dissolved air water into the system, it releases a large number of micron-sized bubbles. These bubbles adsorb suspended solids, oils, and other impurities in the water, causing them to rise to the surface where they are removed by the skimmer, rapidly purifying the water.
The equipment boasts high separation efficiency, achieving removal rates exceeding 80% for suspended solids, COD, and oils. It features a compact footprint, rapid processing speed, and is well-suited for high-turbidity, oily wastewater scenarios. Operation supports semi-automatic or fully automatic control with simplified maintenance, requiring no complex civil engineering. Widely applied in food processing, slaughterhouses, chemical plants, and municipal wastewater pretreatment, it serves as a key device for enhancing water treatment efficiency
