To Øl is a vision of Tore Gynther and Tobias Emil Jensen. Starting out as a home brewing project back in 2005, To Øl was permanently established in 2010 working as a gypsy brewery: lending in on other breweries spare capacity for the following decade. In 2019 we took over a former food factory in the Western part of Zealand, Denmark, where we’re setting up a full-blown, specially designed brewery and craft beverage hub called To Øl City. Our aim is to make this a thriving centre for people to visit, hang out and enjoy the plethora of amazing things being created in every corner of the city.

Cannoli Connection 🇮🇹

A 12% Imperial Pastry Stout made with our friends at Birrificio Italiano and 3 Sons Brewery & Kitchen 🍻, inspired by the iconic Sicilian cannoli and aged in Tuscan Vin Santo barrels.

Not hitting the shelves, but you can get a taste of it at To Øl x BRUS Street Party this Saturday.

Zealand Pale Ale is here, the latest beer to come out of Malt Stars, our in-house beer talent show where people across To Øl get the chance to turn their own beer ideas into the real thing 🍻

This year’s brief was: pick one ingredient or supplier and make it the star of the show. Malt Stars winners Jan and Mathis looked all the way to New Zealand, choosing hops from our friends at Freestyle Hops and building a fresh, aromatic pale ale around them.

And because brewing a beer across two Zealands wasn’t enough of a storyline, turned the can into one too: an abstract storyboard for a film that doesn’t exist. 🎬

The truck is packed and we’re on our way to Folkely for the start of something new 🚚

Building a festival is tough. Keeping it going year after year? Even tougher. Folkely is now a Hundested staple, brought to life by a dedicated crew and an incredible team of volunteers, and this year we’re very happy to join them as their official brewery partner! 🍻

This is the first round of a three-year partnership, and we’re kicking things off with a truck full of good stuff heading north.

We’re heading to Syd for Solen ☀️
For three days, Valbyparken becomes a place where you arrive for one artist and leave with new favourites.
We’ll be there Thursday through Saturday, pouring To Øl between Lorde, Blood Orange, eee gee, The xx and plenty more.

We’ve given To Øl City a makeover, with plenty more to see, taste and do! 💙
Our Visitor Centre is home to a bar, food container, shop and exhibition. Stop by for fresh beer and drinks from across the To Øl universe, grab something to eat and dive into the history of the old Beauvais factory, the ingredients we use and the machinery behind what we make 🍻
You can also book a guided tour and tasting or simply settle in with a cold drink while the kids play outside.
To Øl City is always changing. Something is finished, something is still taking shape, and there is always something new going on.
