Kiln Dried Oak Firewood for sale. Our Kiln Dried Oak Logs fit most wood burning stoves and the crate gives you a mixture of firewood widths which are all up to a maximum 25cm (10inches) in length. All our logs have been Kiln dried to below 18% moisture content which will give you a long slow burn with maximum heat output and low emissions. White Oak and Red Oak are generally considered the best firewood among the hundreds of Oakwood varieties found worldwide.

Oak firewood is a hard, strong and elastic wood that burns slowly. Very well suited for bigger stoves and fireplaces. Oak firewood burns slowly, gives little smoke and a warm flame. Oak should ideally dry for 2-3 years to get the tannins out.
