Jesus Hernandez is this week’s guest. Over the years, he’s worn a lot of musical hats—playing lead guitar in punk bands, writing songs across projects like Fat Judge, Pink Frosty, and A Really Bad Idea, and eventually carving out a style that lives somewhere between hardcore punk energy and stripped-down acoustic honesty. What started with funny songs as a kid evolved into songwriting as therapy, and today it’s simply part of who he is. As he puts it, he can hear one sentence that sticks with him, and before long, it’s become a song.
