Stopped by Number Forty-Seven in Troon yesterday before starting our shift at the Ayrshire B**r & C***r Festival. 🍻

Recognised as the South Ayrshire Area Pub of the Year 2025 by Ayrshire & Wigtownshire CAMRA, they have seven handpulls featuring a varied selection of real ales including Scottish breweries Five Kingdoms and Cairngorm, plus local Riviera C***r. You can also track what is currently available using Real Ale Finder.🍺✨

Inside, it is a long, vibrant single-room bar with exposed brickwork, booth seating along with standard tables and high bar stools, flat-screen sports, a pool table, jukebox, and a dog-friendly atmosphere.

Well worth a visit if you are in town. 📍

🍺 We're pleased to be partnering with the Carmarthenshire B**r & C***r Festival once again!

The 30th anniversary festival kicks off at 5pm today at St Peter's Civic Hall in Carmarthen, running through until Saturday 3rd October. They're using Real Ale Finder to power their live listing featuring over 40 real ales plus c***rs and perries.

🍺 We're proud to be partnering with the CAMRA Ayrshire B**r & C***r Festival once again! It is always one of the highlights in our calendar.

The 25th festival kicks off tomorrow at Troon Concert Hall featuring around 150 cask ales, and 25 c***rs and perries. They're using Real Ale Finder to power their live listings, so you can track what's available in real time.

A fantastic trip to the Isle of Whithorn yesterday! 🍻

Our day started with a 5.30am alarm as we set off on an epic trek across Scotland to visit The Steam Packet Inn, winner of CAMRA Scotland Pub of the Year 2026 🏆and officially in the final 16 running for UK CAMRA Pub of the Year!

After an hour-long bus ride into Edinburgh and a train across to Glasgow, we joined the coach organised by Glasgow CAMRA all the way down to the Solway coast. It was worth every single mile to get to such a remote and beautiful spot.

Although a bit grey when we first arrived, the sun soon broke through to give us bright blue skies for the rest of the afternoon. Sitting right on the picturesque harbour front, the atmosphere inside was buzzing with the award presentation celebrations, great company, an amazing buffet spread, and brilliant local b**rs from their very own Five Kingdoms Brewery.🍺

It was lovely to meet Alastair, and a massive thank you for the incredible hospitality. A huge congratulations to the whole team on a well-deserved win.🎉

Such a brilliant day out in South West Scotland with a great crowd!
