Bruhway Agro-industry is a dynamic and responsible local agricultural and agro-processing company. The company leased about 5,000 hectares of land from the regional state for 25 years for agricultural production. The farm area is located about 625 km from Addis Ababa, Benshangul-Gumuz Regional State in Metkel Zone, Dangur Woreda, Kota kebele. Asphalt road of 500 km and 125 km of gravel road prov
ides the main access to the farm area. The farm areas are predominantly covered with grass land, wood and shrub grass land, open/dense shrub land, open wood land accounting 66% to the total area which is delineated and proposed for agricultural investments. In wide range, the farm area is categorized sub tropical, hot lowland to warm sub humid moist lowlands, traditional classification of agro-climatic zone, and it is classified as ″ wet kolla ″. Bruhway is under process to establish a subsidiary company named Bruhway ago-processing industry.plc. Under this subsidiary company, two Argo-processing plants at Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa City administration will be established. For this purpose, the company received 2700 m2 and 30000 m2 land from Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa city administrations, respectively. The company believes that, this is a huge market and addressing portion of this demand will have huge impact on the economy of the country.
