External military involvement in Sudan undermines every diplomatic effort aimed at stopping the conflict, and Eritrea’s reported deployment of troops is a prime example. By inserting itself into Sudan’s internal war, Eritrea is not only escalating tensions but also deepening the chaos on the ground and complicating peace negotiations.
Instead of supporting stability in the region, Eritrea’s actions are adding fuel to a deadly conflict, making a ceasefire even harder to achieve.
