A typical day at the farm : we started selling our backyard chicken last Thursday and came this morning (Saturday 30th May) at about 9am, all our birds were sold out. We sold live and also butchered birds. After 11am, I had to clean the shed, disinfect it, and after 4 hours, I had to set up the shed again because new tenants were moving in. They're currently 3 weels old. I finished from. from the shed at 9pm.
We had stopped raising chicken since Covid-19 in 2021. After a lapse of 5 years, our lenses has definitely been adjusted. Lots of things have changed (for the better of course) and it's amazing.
Our experiences from 2017 - 2021 has helped us understand the changes in the environment especially the economic environment. The economy has stabilized and the buying power has improved.
On this new journey, it is God that had encouraged us to come back into the game. 🙏👍
