Henri’s Reserve founder, led by her handsome and ever so charming guide Henri (see below), discovered the exceptional and exclusive world of artisanal Ch*****nes. Once she experienced these works of art there was no turning back. Just as wines differ from region to region and vineyard to vineyard, she found that while the large production Ch*****nes that we know here in the US had consistent “house styles” year to year, they didn’t have the thrilling, deeply original characteristics of boutique Ch*****nes. Transported by the legacies of the vineyards, the artistry of the vignerons, the power of terroir, the 17 Grand Cru villages, she, together with Henri, decided to source these Ch*****nes for friends — both old and new! Henri’s Reserve focuses exclusively on estate-bottled, grower Ch*****nes that often yield less than 5,000 cases per year. Henri’s Reserve is more than just a location to find the best of the boutique Ch*****nes, it is the beginning of a journey. Led by the impeccable palate of Henri, our utterly charming, roguish host — whose invitation no one can turn down (sorry, 007 — he too is the man men want to be, and the man women want to be with!) Let Henri be your personal chef-de-cave guiding you to the most sought after Ch*****nes. Never one to bore you with superfluous snobbery, Henri loves nothing so much as popping corks and letting you decide — the thrill is in the chase, and while he loves the idea of inviting you to travel with him across the hills of Chalons in pursuit of that perfect glass, we can assure you: Sit back and enjoy!
