A delicious brunch is always guaranteed at in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favourite foodie spots in the area.

If you’re searching for brunch in Derbyshire, independent cafes in Chesterfield, or places to eat in Chesterfield, this one deserves a place on your must-visit list.

Here’s what we ordered 👇
🧀 Grilled Cheese 🍒 Sweet Cherry Yogurt Bowl 🍳 Ham Hock & Chorizo Benedict 🥔 A side of their incredible hash browns

And those hash browns? Honestly, they should come with a warning because they’re seriously addictive 🤤

What we love about Ninety Four is that it’s not just a great brunch spot. They also open on Friday and Saturday evenings, serving a fantastic dinner menu, making it the perfect choice whether you’re after breakfast, brunch, lunch or a relaxed evening meal.

Whether you’re planning a catch-up with friends, a weekend brunch date or simply looking for new restaurants in Derbyshire to try, Ninety Four is well worth a visit.

Finally visited in Covent Garden 🍸✨

We’d heard so much about The Ivy and finally decided to try it for ourselves as a little special occasion treat.

Here’s what we ordered 👇
🥩 Starters • Steak Tartare with Toast • Twice-Baked Cheese Soufflé
🍽️ Mains • Half Roast Chicken • Rib-eye on the Bone
🍰 Desserts • Black Bee Honey & White Chocolate Cheesecake • Selection of Cheeses

Overall, the food was genuinely delicious and beautifully presented. The standout for us was definitely the cheesecake — almost too cute to eat!

The service was friendly and attentive throughout, which really added to the experience. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what we expected though — the tables felt quite close together and the music choice seemed a little random for the vibe.

Is The Ivy worth the money? Maybe not for an everyday meal, but definitely nice for a luxury dining experience or special occasion in London. We would go back, but probably try a different Ivy location next time.

We cooked up a tasty pasta recipe from the website using his miso pesto. This is one of the goodies we picked up from our lovely visit to 👀🍝

The pesto is made with spinach, pine kernels, caramelised onions and white miso — so we expected a really punchy, bold flavour 🤤

But actually, it was much milder than we thought! Still tasty, just more subtle and creamy than intense 👏✨

Next time I think we are going to experiment with the recipe a little. We’d probably add a little garlic for extra depth, and asparagus would work SO well in this too 🌱 And if you wanted to add a protein, chicken would be perfect 🍗

We still got half a jar left… so we will definitely let you know how the next version turns out.
