Hi all,

Sorry for the radio silence! I’ve had a few messages asking when I’ll be opening in the park, so here’s a quick update.

I was supposed to be moving house next Monday, so I’ve been up to my knees in packing, in-between working but the sale has been delayed, so I’m now waiting on a new entry date. They say moving is the most stressful thing you’ll ever do, and it definitely is!

Unfortunately, I can’t do everything at the same time, and I’m still waiting for the council to get back to me about the electric power there. Once I’ve moved and the power is sorted, I’ll be opening in the park. Until then, I’m sorry for the delay and appreciate your patience!

Because of the really awful weather at this time of year, I’ve decided to hold off opening until closer to spring. I don’t want to start up and then have to close again if the weather turns bad. I know snow in spring isn’t unheard of, but hopefully that won’t happen this year – fingers crossed! I truly want to open at the right time and build something lovely for the park, and right now just isn’t it. I hope you all understand. Roll on spring! xx

After visiting the park and considering the current flooding along with the weather forecast, I’ve decided it’s best to delay opening for the time being. I want to avoid opening only to close again shortly after, so I sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience. Will keep you all updated ❤️

It’s been quite a journey. After buying the business last year, the process has been long and challenging. The kiosk was in such poor condition that when I stripped it back, the floor gave way, forcing me to start completely fresh with a brand-new kiosk. This has been much more costly and time-consuming than I originally expected. But now, we’re finally ready to get the kiosk on site and set everything up to create something special in Seaton Park for everyone to enjoy.

Aberdeen is my hometown, and I’m so excited to be returning to launch something new in the beautiful Seaton Park. After working in my family’s catering business for over 20 years, I’m now branching out on my own.
