Spotted today on the farm.

Moving into calving season we are finding more and more deer hiding in the grass and bushes. They are a little nervous to say hello, but with a keen eye you might just be able to spot them running alongside their mothers or taking a nap tucked away in the undergrowth.

Thinking of visiting the farm and seeing them for yourself? Head to our website to book in for a visit

We are excited to share an upcoming event this Friday with our long-time partners at Garioch Community Kitchen

They host a wonderful free monthly Brunch and Blether on the first Friday of every month at Wyness Hall, Jackson Street, Inverurie, and this Friday 5th June is the next one, running from 11:30am
to 1pm.

We have partnered with them in the past as many of you will know, and this Friday we will be opening a stall at the event for anyone looking to come and have a chat, pick up some venison, and discover some great recipe ideas to take home.

Spaces are limited so booking is essential.

Exciting news on the farm!

It seems our deer are not the only ones who have been keeping secrets. Another member of our family has some news of her own to share.

Our very own spaniel has had a litter, totalling NINE new arrivals, and it looks like a certain Labrador may have had something to do with it!

A very unexpected pregnancy, but we could not be more delighted.

Say hello to our newest additions

A wonderful evening at Garioch Community Kitchen. It was so great to be back and even better to see such an incredible turnout with all 25 tickets selling out.

A huge thank you to the team at GCK for having us and to the amazing Chef Lesley Gillespie for putting together such a spectacular spread from pate on oatcake all the way through to smash burger tacos, every single dish showcasing just what venison can do.

If you missed out this time, do not worry. Janet will be at the Garioch Community Kitchen on Friday 5th June from 11:30am to 1pm for anyone who would like to collect their venison order in Inverurie.

Head to the link in our bio to place your order ahead of the collection date

The farm shop is open this Saturday 30th, 10am to 2pm.

Come along and pick up your venison straight from us, as fresh and local as it gets.

If you are lucky you might also spot some new faces in the back garden. Birthing season is well underway and we are already four new calves up. It is a special time of year on the farm and we love being able to share it with our visitors
