We have had a new arrival this week - a little calf was born! Here she is in the field with her mum, looking very cute.

Our milkshake flavours will be changed on Saturday 29th August to:

Pistachio
Salted caramel
Raspberry

As usual, you will still be able to purchase milk or chocolate, strawberry or banana milkshakes.

The machines are stocked with local fresh eggs, cakes, bakes and biscuits, pies, scotch eggs, cheeses, kefir, fruit juices, jams and honey.

Did you know as a little bit of extra fun, at each restock we fill a couple of the empty milk bottles with some sweet treats. The machines dispense the bottles at random - have you been lucky enough to receive one of the sweetie bottles with your purchase?

This weekend, Saturday 15th August, our milkshake flavours will be changed to:

Black cherry
Vanilla
Crème egg

Alongside our usual flavours, chocolate, strawberry and banana and of course milk.

The machines are stocked with cheeses, eggs, pies, 3 flavours of scotch eggs, cakes and bakes, fruit juices, jams and kefir… all locally sourced. We currently have biltong in stock too!

It has been a quiet couple of weeks on the farm. Due to the ongoing heat and absence of rain, we continue to feed the cattle some of their hay that was due to be used this winter - this is not normal practice and we are hoping for some rain soon to help make the fields lush and green for the cows.

It’s not often in the uk that we start to miss the rain, but as with all farmers at the moment, we would really like some rain to make our fields green again! Our fields are very dry. This weather was great for getting the hay in, which we managed to successfully do a few weeks back, but we have had to start using the hay that we usually use in winter to help the girls get their nutrition. Fingers crossed for some more rain soon!

It’s Binky’s birthday month 🎉! We don’t know the exact date he was born but he turns 17 this month! He’s doing well isn’t he! Here he is enjoying the sunshine this morning. He still does his meet and greet shifts at the milkie bar, however we have noticed he’s moving into partial retirement, as he’s spending more time at home these days. You are welcome to say hello to him if he happens to be on shift when you visit.

Hazelnut chocolate

Hi Everyone,

It’s been a while since our last update, hoping you are all well and enjoying the warm weather ☀️

We have had some new arrivals! These four arrived last week, 2 little dun coloured highland heifers, one bull, and one steer. They are currently enjoying their new pasture.

This weekend, 4th July, the milkshake flavours will be:

Blue bubblegum
Salted caramel
Pistachio

Alongside the usual chocolate, strawberry and banana flavours. We also have cheeses, yogurts, juices, honey, jams, pies, cakes and bakes in the vending machines.

And finally, we are sad to let you know that our ice cream machine has had to be returned to its supplier. As many of you will have seen on your visits, it wasn’t always functioning and despite a lot of patience and time spent trying to make it work, with very little reward, we have made the decision to return it. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

Hello Everyone,

Hoping you are all as well as possible.
As always we are busy, the time just races by, and here we are almost through May!

The cattle are enjoying grazing the fields and we hope you are enjoying seeing them!
We have just bought two new highland cows with their youngsters. We know you all like this breed and everyone recognises them.

The milkshakes were changed on 23rd May and will be on for two weeks.

Blueberry muffin
Vanilla
Mint chocolate
Along with regulars Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana.

We have had our new Summer bottles delivered and they will be in the machines next week.

The machines are full of the usual products, cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, cookie dough, scotch eggs, soft drinks, jams, local honey, eggs, etc, etc, etc!!
