Hello Everyone,

Hoping you are all as well as possible.
As always we are busy, the time just races by, and here we are almost through May!

The cattle are enjoying grazing the fields and we hope you are enjoying seeing them!
We have just bought two new highland cows with their youngsters. We know you all like this breed and everyone recognises them.

The milkshakes were changed on 23rd May and will be on for two weeks.

Blueberry muffin
Vanilla
Mint chocolate
Along with regulars Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana.

We have had our new Summer bottles delivered and they will be in the machines next week.

The machines are full of the usual products, cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, cookie dough, scotch eggs, soft drinks, jams, local honey, eggs, etc, etc, etc!!

Hi Folks,
Our ice cream machine is now up and running. Super soft whipped ice cream with a choice of 3 syrups, Strawberry, Salted caramel and Chocolate, and 3 toppings, Smarties, Biscotti and Hundreds and thousands. Our very first customers were Zak and Grace from Havant. They said “it’s delicious and we’ll be back for more”.
Milkshakes at the moment are biscotti, Rhubarb and custard and Cappuccino. Along with regulars Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana.

Dear Friends,

First of all, apologies for not giving an update sooner, we are busy as always, I don't know where the time goes and here we are past halfway through February.

Thank you for your continued support, it's keeping us afloat!!

The spring flowers are coming out, daffodils, crocus, celandines and primroses. The daylight hours are getting longer and the birds are singing, truly a sign that spring is just around the corner. When the fields dry up a little you will see more cattle back out in the fields.

We have all our usual products in the vending machines, including "Barkham Blue" a cheese you cheese connoisseurs will know. A semi-soft blue cheese made using guernsey cow's milk from a local producer. Kefir is also produced locally and in a glass bottle which we believe is so much better for milk and milk products.

Our milkshake special flavours this week are:

Vanilla
Mint Chocolate
& Raspberry
Next week from 21st February they will change to:

Chocolate Orange
Salted Caramel
& Blueberry Muffin
As always, we will have, Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana.

Hello Friends,

We wish you all a belated "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and hope you all managed to enjoy Christmas.

It is The Milkie Bars 5th anniversary. Those of you that have been supporting us since we opened will have seen lots of changes, what will the next five years bring?
Thank you so much for your continued support.

The frosty weather and snow look very pretty but does make things more difficult for us on the farm with drinking water freezing up and having to ferry tanks of water around. Roll on the Spring!

Our Valentines bottles will be in the machines before the weekend, and we hope you will enjoy them.

The milkshake flavours will be changing on Saturday. The new flavours will be:
Blue Bubble Gum
Vanilla
Crème Egg
Along with regulars Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana.

We are hoping are we will also have our local speciality cheeses in for the weekend.

As you brownie connoisseurs will have noticed we have been sampling gluten free brownies, as a lot of people have been asking for gluten free products. This week we have decided to run gluten free alongside standard brownies and see how that goes.

All our usual goodies are in the vending machines. This week's cake is chocolate.

Hello Friends,

Hoping you are keeping as well as can be,

John went to market last week and came back with a roan cow called Raspberry and her baby Rupert. You can see them in the field behind The Milkie Bar car park. Also in the field are Curlylocks and her new baby Tyson. We hope you will enjoy seeing them.

We have a robin regularly coming into The Milkie Bar, I'm not sure what Binky makes of this, it's probably as well he's slowed up a bit with age!
Thank you to all those who bring him treats he does enjoy them.

If any of you need a new lid, just ask, we usually have a few spares. I know they start to spin or corrode after a while. They are best washed by hand and not in the dishwasher.

Just to let you know we raised £195.54 from The Pumpkin Patch. This has been donated to Parkinson's UK. Thank you so much for supporting that.

Our new cheeses are proving popular, and we are also stocking kefir.

Biltong will be in later on Saturday.

We hope you are getting used to our new opening hours:

8am - 9pm Monday - Thursday
8am - 10pm Friday
9am - 10pm Saturday
10am -8pm Sunday & Bank Holidays.

Hopefully you will be able to adapt to these times. We need your custom.

The Chocolate Brownies are now gluten free.

We also now sell natural farm Kefir.

Our new select Village Maid Cheeses sold out very quickly so we've ordered more to come before the next weekend.

They are rather special, made with Guernsey cow's milk and Wigmore a semi-soft sheep's
cheese.

Hi Folks,

Hope you are all well as we go forward into winter and with Christmas fast approaching.

We hope you can adapt to our new opening hours, it is not easy for us and we need your support more than ever.

We have lots of news!

Our new bottles will be arriving the end of the week and should be in the machines for the weekend. It's the Christmas design which is fun and we hope you will like it.

We also have two new shortbread flavours, in keeping with Christmas, Ginger and Cinnamon.

We have been sampling some very exclusive cheeses from a new supplier. They are "Village Maid Cheeses" and are based between Basingstoke and Reading. They make seven different cheeses and we will have three in our machines for the weekend.

Wigmore, a delicious soft sheep's cheese.
Golden Saye, a smooth guernsey milk cheese
The famous Barkham Blue, a semi soft blue cheese again made with Guernsey cow's milk.

All the "Village Maid Cheeses" are very select and special.

Milkshake flavours from Saturday 15th November:

Toffee Apple
Blueberry Muffin
Salted Caramel
as always along with our regulars, Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana.

Cake this week will change from Coffee to Banana.

By popular demand our chocolate brownies are going gluten free. Lots of you ask for gluten free products so we thought we'd give it a go. They probably won't be available until next week.

Again, because so many have asked, we now have Keffir.
