Re- starting this Saturday our SEND short breaks sessions from 10am-1130. Join us at the farm for a small group session tailored to meet the needs of children with SEND, kindly supported by Isle of Wight Council

Also our Young Carers’ Club restarts this Saturday - 11.30-1pm. This session provides a relaxing space for young carers to unwind and have some ‘me time’.
This club is also supported by IW Council.

✨ Just a few magical moments at Isle of Wight Rare Breeds ✨

Sometimes, a photograph captures far more than a moment. It captures a connection. A feeling. A little bit of happiness, confidence, calm or joy that can stay with someone long after they’ve left the farm. ❤️

This is why we do what we do.

Our animals have an incredible way of bringing people together. Whether it’s a child finding confidence, someone who has been struggling finding a reason to smile, a family making memories together, or simply someone enjoying a quiet moment with an animal — these moments really do matter.

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who supports us Isle of Wight Rare Breeds, visiting us, spending time with our animals, sharing our journey, encouraging us and, most importantly, taking the time to understand what we do — and why we do it.

Your support means more than you probably realise. It allows us to continue creating these special experiences, supporting our community and giving people the opportunity to connect with animals, nature and each other. 🐑🐐🐄❤️

🐄🔥 FARMING CLUB IS BACK THIS SUNDAY! 🐑🐐

Calling all animal-mad young people aged 8–16! 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Fancy getting stuck in on the farm? Then Farming Club is for you! 🌱

Forget sitting on the sidelines — this is your chance to get hands-on with our animals, learn real farming skills and discover what it takes to care for them.

🐑 Feed and care for our sheep
🐐 Get to know our goats
🐄 Learn about our cattle
🐓 Help with our smaller animals
🧑‍🌾 Learn about animal husbandry and welfare
🌿 Get outdoors and get stuck in!

And it’s not just about the animals — you’ll meet other young people, make new friends, build confidence and have plenty of fun along the way! 💚

🐑 LITTLE FARMERS – EVERY MONDAY! 🌱

Join us at IOW Rare Breeds with your little ones for farmyard fun every Monday, 10am–11.30am! 🐄🐐🐑

Each week we explore a different farm-themed topic — and next week it’s SHEEP WEEK! 🐑❤️
