Hi Folks

Super excited to announce that the Applecross Roastery Pop-Up will be open at the campsite from Wednesday the 1st of April (not an April fools!)
Everybody welcome. There will be Applecross Roastery coffee (including our new decaf), hot and cold drinks as well as a small selection of hot and cold snacks.
Opening times are 08.30 till 12.00, daily.
Can’t wait to see you all there 😊

Hi folks, just to let you all know that the roastery will be closed for a few days over Christmas. In order to ensure a Christmas delivery, please order before Saturday the 20th. Alternatively, all orders received after Saturday will be roasted fresh on the 28th ready to be posted out on Monday the 29th.

Hi Folks
It has been a busy few weeks here at the roastery and we are really excited to introduce to you our 2 brand new single origin offerings.
Guatemala La Bolsa- This is our first ever Festive Roast. It is a stunning washed coffee from the Guatemalan highlands and oozes all the flavours of Christmas with notes of milk chocolate, orange, praline and treacle.
Ethiopia Gedeb Lalesa - This is a truly unique naturally processed coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. This has quickly become a roastery favourite and boasts flavour notes of peach, mango, lemon and milk chocolate.
Both of these coffees are now available to purchase through our online store - applecrossroastery.coffee where you will also find our new 3 and 6 month subscription options.
Applecross Roastery would also like to say a special thank you to Valerie of who has been the creative force behind all of our branding and imaging from the very beginning and we are very lucky to have her onboard.
Finally, a massive thank you to everyone for all the continued support and our best wishes over the festive period.

As the sun sets on another busy tourist season here in Applecross, I just wanted to personally say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the business since the roastery opened all the way back in April. A special thank you to Alison and Jas at for giving me the space to set up the roastery and for all their help and support. Also a big thank you to all the amazing local businesses who have supported the roastery since we opened.

Going forward there a few exciting announcements to share with you ,,,,,,

A brand new coffee has arrived at the roastery supplied by the fine folks at .micro . This is shaping up to be one of our best coffees so far and I’m personally very excited about so please keep an eye out for more updates on the coming days/weeks.

We have an exciting collaboration with coming up which we will announce soon.

Finally, the roastery will have a stall at the Applecross Christmas Market on the 28th of November as well as the Plockton High School Christmas Faye on the 29th and can’t wait to see you all there!

Ooo…more posh coffee! This time from Applecross Roastery! It’s almost like you guys all drink a lot of coffee!

Applecross Roastery is super stoked to announce our brand new, fully printed, recyclable single origin coffee bags. We have teamed up with the fine folks at who have been a joy to work with. The bags have been designed by Valerie Hodgkinson of who has done a fantastic job! The bags were made using recycled materials and printed with soy based ink. Although our new bags are fully recyclable, we would always recommend reusing them. Once your coffee is finished, you can always keep the bags to use with fresh beans or even nuts and spices.
As well as our new bags, we are also very excited to announce that we have 4 brand new coffees currently on offer. We have our signature Espresso Roast, a washed coffee from Guatemala which we roast just that wee bit longer to showcase its lovely chocolatey notes. We also have a superb organic coffee from the Mexican highlands which is truly stunning. Next is a super fruity naturally processed coffee from Sumatra and last but not least is a classic offering from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia which is bursting with notes of apricot jam and brown sugar. All of these coffees are available in and around Applecross as well as our online store, applecrossroastery.coffee

Hi Folks

Roastery update!

We are stoked to announce the arrival of our new 5kg coffee roaster which has already become a welcome and valued addition to the Roastery!

In addition to this, we are really excited to announce the first of our 2 brand new single origin coffees. Shikankoni Hill is our new naturally processed coffee from the Kayanza region of Burundi. The coffee is grown by a small collective of farmers working in collaboration with the Cafex project. Cafex was launched by a Belgian-Burundian couple who wanted to promote local coffee production in the area but with a real emphasis on improving the quality of lives of the local population.

The coffee itself has a really pleasant berry acidity with a real juicy mouthfeel and a hint of citrus which makes it a really refreshing cup which works perfectly in all filter coffee methods. This coffee is definitely not to be missed and is available at various outlets in and around Applecross as well as through our online store, applecrossroastery.coffee

Hi folks! Just to let you know that our online store has now been restocked. We are sorry for the delay.

You can now purchase our two new coffees from our online store applecrossroastery.coffee

We have an exceptional washed coffee from Ethiopia and a super fruity, naturally processed coffee from Burundi. We will post more info about these 2 exciting additions in the coming days.

Please allow an extra few days when ordering online as we can only currently ship on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Anyone who lives locally can also select the local pick up option and we will have your coffee resdy in a few days to pick up directly from the roastery @ the campsite.

Roastery Update!
Firstly, I just wanted to say thank you all for the support and positive feedback over the last few months since we started, they have absolutely flown by!
Secondly, our apologies to anyone trying to purchase coffee through our online store which is currently out of stock. Sorry about this, the first batch of coffees sold out much quicker than expected.
Moving forward, we are really close to announcing our brand new and unique “Applecross Roastery Espresso Blend” featuring exceptional coffees from Brazil and Costa Rica. You can try this at various outlets in and around Applecross in the coming weeks. In addition to this, we are really excited to announce that we have some amazing single origin offerings coming from Burundi and Ethiopia. These are definitely not to be missed and will be available both locally and through our online store so please keep an eye out for future updates!
