Seren woke me up in a panic at 5:30 worried she could smell a fire. Really feel for our fire service, as if they haven't had enough to deal with already!

🚒Incident update🚒
Crews remain in attendance at the fire at Abergwynant Forestry, Gwynedd, tackling hotspots with the current area affected thought to be around 30metres x 20metres. We'd like to thank colleagues from Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri - Eryri National Park and Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales for their assistance at the scene.

The fires at this location are thought to have been started deliberately, and North Wales Police will be investigating further.

We’d appeal to residents to please be vigilant, and if you see any suspicious behaviour in relation to deliberate fire setting, please inform North Wales Police either by their live webchat online or by calling 101.

If you spot a new active fire, please call 999.

Asked Seren what she wanted to do today, she chose a visit to Coed y Brenin because she's never been there!
(Remembered when we arrived that she has visited multiple times before!)
A lovely walk in the woods, picnic by the river and a bit of tree identifying with her new book.

Seren wedi dewis mynd i Coed y Brenin yn mynny nad oedd wedi bod or blaen!
Taith gerdded a picnic wrth yr afon. Wedi mwynhau edrych am y coed yn ei llyfr newydd.

Lovely afternoon at Talyllyn Railway for the Rev.W.Audry's Little Engines weekend. Train ride to Abergynolwyn where we were greeted with a packed afternoon tea. Sandwiches, biscuits, crisps, scones and a drink. Forgot to take a photo before we tucked in!

Prynhawn hyfryd ar tren bach Tal y Llyn. Taith ar y tren a te prynhawn bendigedig yn Abergynolwyn. Wedi anghofio gael llun cyn bwyta!

Treated ourselves to a chippy tea from Môr Tywyn after swimming lessons. So much to chose from, sorry no pictures of the cheeseburger as Seren had eaten it before we were out of Tywyn!
