Officially launched in 2011, A.Twemlow Logs has been created to meet increasing demand from loyal customers for quality firewood products. Based in Swinscoe, just outside Ashbourne, Derbyshire - owner Alan, has supplied logs to a growing market of loyal customers over the years and has now invested in further equipment, with some grant funding, to enable the business to expand. Alan works closely
with local estates and farms to ensure all timber is sustainably sourced and local wherever possible. Undertaking natural thinning on these estates creates more natural light and creates a better environment for the remaining trees to thrive. In times of peak demand, wood is also supplied from further afield, but always from sustainable sources.
