Something a little different is happening in the kitchen this week… 👀

We’re experimenting with homemade pastries to (hopefully!) bring something extra tasty to Moonlit Pantry very soon.

Think golden, flaky, fresh-from-the-oven treats alongside your usual jars of jam and chutney… the kind of thing that doesn’t make it home without “just one bite” first 😅

We’re still in the testing stage, playing around with flavours and getting everything just right — but it won’t be long before a few of these start appearing.

If all goes to plan, you might start spotting them in the honesty box 👀

Running a small business is a strange thing.

You have big ideas.
Big plans.
Launch dates in your head.

And then…

Life gets in the way.
Confidence wobbles.
Marmalade doesn’t set.
Muffins don’t rise.

Last week this was meant to be live.

It wasn’t.

Not because we quit.
Not because we don’t care.
But because sometimes small batch really does mean small batch — and that comes with setbacks.

You adjust.
You remake.
You try again.

Friday, we go again.

That’s the reality of building something properly.

And honestly? I wouldn’t want it any other way.
