Well… this absolutely made our day! We’re so grateful to receive feedback like this — it really means a lot to us.

This group hired our camping paddock exclusively for the weekend, making the most of the space, the countryside walks, and the nearby pub (The George Inn).

They left the paddock exactly as they found it, with the lovely addition of some flowers at the washing up sink they had picked over the weekend — there must be a florist among them!

We love welcoming respectful groups who enjoy the space and help us keep it looking its best.

Rosie Hut is all set to welcome our guests for a special birthday stay. A little treat of fudge is waiting on arrival, the fire has just been lit, and the hot tub is warming up nicely. With this nice warm weather, it’s the perfect place to relax and celebrate.

What a lovely morning we had running our very first trial woodland yoga session!

After a touch-and-go start, wondering whether the recent rain would leave the ground too wet, we decided to go ahead—armed with wellies, waterproof-backed picnic rugs, and plenty of layers—and we’re so glad we did!

After a short walk through the woodland, we settled into our beautiful spot and enjoyed an hour of yoga and relaxation, expertly led by Brek from Pocket Farm. The weather was kind to us, with no rain, a gentle breeze, and even a little sunshine breaking through at times.

Afterwards, we enjoyed delicious cake kindly baked by Spring Hill Farm’s very own Mary Baker, along with a hot drink. Jennie may have forgotten the regular tea, but the Sencha lemon green tea proved a hit for some, and coffee went down well for everyone else—phew!

A huge thank you to Brek from Pocket Farm Yoga for such a wonderful session.

A beautiful way to spend a Sunday morning. Now it’s time to gather feedback and decide whether woodland yoga should return… watch this space

A few snapshots from the last week at the camping paddock 📸☀️

The Bank Holiday weekend was lovely and busy, followed by a slightly quieter week, but still with plenty of activity with guests making the most of the sunshine and the half-term break.

The weather has certainly been amazing—if not a little too warm at times! It's been lovely to see families, walkers, cyclists, and couples all enjoying the great outdoors and everything the local area has to offer.

We're welcoming a good number of visitors again this weekend, with plenty of people making the most of the beautiful weather and a relaxing break in the countryside.

Thank you to everyone who has chosen to stay with us recently. We hope you've made some wonderful memories and enjoyed your time here as much as we've enjoyed hosting you!

The Story Behind the Names!

Did you know our shepherds’ huts and woodshed compartments are all named after ponies? Rosie and Percy take their names from two much-loved family ponies, while the woodshed compartments carry the names of ponies bred here at Spring Hill Farm, alongside other cherished family ponies over the years.

It would have been Percy’s birthday today — happy birthday up there, Percy

And as if that wasn’t enough pony news…Mary Springdown Connemara Ponies had two new arrivals this month — gorgeous little Breeze and Madge

A Walk for Food Lovers!

Many of our guests love the walk over to Quince & Clover in Great Tew—and if you’ve visited before, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s now a second café in Deddington, also within walking distance from Spring Hill Farm.

Perfect for brunch, lunch, coffee or ice cream, it’s a lovely reward at the end of a countryside stroll. Set beside Deddington’s lively market square, it’s also a great excuse to explore the village’s independent shops and welcoming pubs.
