THANK YOU to everyone who made Barnet Medieval Festival such a special weekend at Lewis of London! We really appreciated the resourcefulness of our participants in dealing with the challenging weather conditions on Saturday and the understanding of the public who braved the wind and rain. Sunday proved a record day in the number of re-enactors and visitors who came together to mark the 555th anniversary of the Battle of Barnet.
There are so many people to thank, but chief among them are our Event Co-ordinator Linda Godden, our Re-enactor Co-ordinator Mike Powley, and our hosts Daniel and Fiona Lewis. We are grateful to Sarah Atkey for leading the Security and Event Solutions team and the Pulse South Coast Ltd - Training & Medical Services team for keeping us all safe. And we could not have delivered such a successful event without our brilliant volunteer team who kept going the extra mile.
