Spending the week up in beautiful Skipness visiting my parents who’ve just made the big move—what a stunning spot they’ve chosen! Today I had the pleasure of cooking Sunday dinner (gluten free, of course!) using some of Becky Excell - Gluten free Recipes, Products + Support amazing recipes.

On the menu: crispy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, gluten free Yorkshire puddings (yes, they worked!), and to top it all off… a cookie dough pie for dessert. Safe to say we’re all very full and very happy! 😊

Highly recommend Becky Excell Gluten Free recipes if you’re gluten free—they never miss!

Post-Crinan Park Run foodie heaven! Crinan Canal parkrun 🏃‍♀️

Dropped into Polly's Coffee Stop and was seriously impressed — a perfectly seasoned, gluten-free homemade scotch egg (crisp on the outside, soft and savoury in the middle), followed by a gorgeously spiced fruit and ginger cake that was moist, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweet.🍰☕️
Hidden gem alert — will definitely be back for round two!

The food is absolutely spot on—tasty fish and chips, and the staff are so friendly (which just makes the experience even better).

What’s even better???

They’re offering kids eat for £1 during the Easter holidays (T&Cs apply).

For a local, family-run business to do something like this—it’s honestly amazing. Support local where you can!❤️🤑

The Cheese Trader I visited The Cheese Trader, tucked just off The Shambles in York, and was greeted warmly by the owner. Popped into a deli cafĂŠ in Otley today and had some amazing gluten-free food.

I went for a sausage and Brie toastie (so good), then couldn’t resist trying a brownie Scotch cream egg—honestly, next level. I also grabbed a Yorkshire pudding wrap stuffed with chicken, stuffing, roasties, and gravy to take with me for the ride home.

This is a must try- was well worth the 2 hour round trip!
