For the record: the only thing coming out of Pig & Olive Westward Ho! is pizza. 🍕

The alert is genuine though – there's been a sewage discharge at Westward Ho! since early this morning, so please check before swimming or letting the dog in the water. Stay safe, and come and see us (dry side of the slipway) for something that smells considerably better.

A little sneak peek at what's cooking on Boutport Street 🍕

Here's a sample of our Barnstaple menu – the kind of food we love to make, and hope you'll love to eat.

Start with Not Chips (crisp-fried dauphinoise with harissa and mint & chive coconut yoghurt) or a Baked Camembert on our long-fermented dough – made for tearing, dipping and sharing.

Then it's stone-baked pizza, made on dough we ferment for 22 hours, so it's light, airy and full of flavour. Keep an eye on our specials too – right now that includes mortadella, stracciatella & pistachio pizza, and monkfish & chorizo skewers.

It's a sample menu, so dishes may change with the seasons and whatever's looking best that week. Pop in and see what's on.

😔 Sorry, Anstey: no van tonight

We’re very sorry to let you know that the Pig & Olive van won’t make it to Anstey Community Hall this evening. The van needs a repair, and we’d rather get it fixed properly than risk letting you down halfway through service.

We know lots of you were looking forward to pizza tonight, and we’re sorry for the disappointment.

We hope to be back on the road tomorrow at Beaford Village Hall, 4.30pm – 8.30pm, and we’ll post an update as soon as we know more.
