EXTRA SPICY LAMB MERGUEZ SAUSAGES
🌶️🔥🌶️🔥🌶️🔥🌶️

Using the finest local lamb and a blend of Harissa made of HEAPS of Red Chilli, Roasted Garlic, Toasted Cumin, Sumac, Nigella Seeds and Lemon Zest.

Purely Lamb, piped into a Natural Hog Casing so they are nice and chunky!!

Grill over the top of potatoes roasting in a skillet and make the most of those juices!!

POV - the sausage she told you not to worry about.

Hitting the grills this summer is the finest of sausages, there is literally no comparison to a standard sausage.

The work that goes into designing, crafting and smoking these kind of sausages is hardcore but you can see from the results it’s worth every second of prep time.

Down to the cook, it needs to be nice and slow to confit all the ingredients inside the casing.

If you don’t make an effort in life you won’t achieve a thing.

BLUEBERRY WAFFLE SAUSAGE 🫐🧇🍦

Last weekend we did the unthinkable , served up a sausage as a dessert at 🙃🍮

Blueberry Waffle Sausage, Packed full of blueberries, waffles, coffee, guajillo and ancho chili, sage and heaps of maple syrup.

That’s just the sausage!!

We served that up with a blueberry coulis and squirty cream just to give it that old school British party time vibe 🥳

FEAST ON - BRISTOL 🔥

Great to do local events sometimes, not many people know about SOSIJ and what we do locally.
I learned from my mistakes from last year and this year i decided that we would do more than 100 covers all weekend and push, and push we did 😂

BUSY, HOT and FUN 🥵🤘🏼

Deciding to take sausages out of the traditional ‘hot dog’ or served with mash. And using roasted vegetables as a side, alongside a pork BBQ tray and a taco.

The menu meant a lot to me, it was written using elements of different friends dishes. Food that has made me stop and think, elements of dishes that I feel need to be shared and tasted.

Another first for many was the dessert sausage we had on the menu as a special.

Blueberry Waffle Sausage served with Blueberry Coulis and Squirty Cream - it was EPIC 🫐
