August brings male fallow into season.

This year is proving difficult. The extreme heat and drought conditions have really changed their feeding patterns and overall behaviour.

This is where deer management needs to adapt and change for varying conditions year on year.

Solving a problem doesn’t usually leave you with anything useful, deer management is the exception...

Roe deer can cause serious damage to young trees, especially future Christmas trees. Browsing and fraying can stunt growth, deform and kill a tree before it ever matures.
This buck was feeding in the wrong place at the wrong time, but he doesn’t go to waste. Ethical management protects the woodland and produces wild, traceable venison.
