We have pigs! Busy day here. More lambs born in the sunshine before winter returned! All tucked up inside until spring returns.

Busy morning today with some of ewes deciding to give birth at the same time. Alpacas keeping a watchful eye over things and welcoming the new arrivals.

As well as Alpacas we have sheep. Lambing kicked off this morning with a very cute little single girl. All tucked up for the night with security gaurds Barnaby and Buster patrolling the grounds outside.

It's been a really sad afternoon here at Ruilick Alpacas. We lost our stud Houghton Barrabus (Barry). We are not entirely sure what happened yet the vet was called but unfortunately we lost him. This boy was our 1st and most decorated stud! List of his awards in shows in the pictures. 39 crias to his name. This boy is not just part of Ruilick Alpacas he is Ruilick Alpacas! All of our females except one are his daughters. He will be missed but his blood will run through this herd for years to come!
