Typing this as I eat a reheated slice of this to be reminded that The Brooklyn still honestly is the best takeaway pizza you can get in Belfast.
Absolutely reeks of people pleaser energy with suitable for ages 1_100 vibes.

Like, you walk in any room with a box of this and people will go full Brad Pitt 7 on you asking what's in the box.

Anyone else pick the potato slices off at and eat them one by one like little good boy treats?

Pardon the language but holy sweet f**k the Tokyo After Dark slices at just cemented themselves as the best slices in Belfast for the whole year.

Every.damn.one is like prime Mike Trout out the park home run (or at least getting a double on base)

Potato katsu is a lateral on their potato and onion that lifts everything up.

The Street Corn has rayu sprinkled on that burns in the nest way possibly.

The Okonomiyaki (don't think I butchered that spelling) was, and this is meant as the greatest compliment ever, like eating a packet of Skips.

And the miso slice was the best mushroom pie we've tasted since the King Funghi at .

Absolutely f**king unreal to be able to dander in and get this no bother. 12/10 no further comments.

Had a wee jaunt to Dublin at the weekend.
Didn't need to go searching far for a slice shop as was like right by the hotels.
Vibes were nice and slices were dece.
The sesame crust on one of the slices tastes like burner popcorn, but like in the best way possible?

Was in town yesterday to go to Ulster Hall and managed to not have dinner early enough so finally had the chance to schneak into Orto Slice.

For a real slice test, grabbed a Margherita slice, which was £4. It leans a bit more into NY style and not the usual sit in pie from Orto, which makes more sense.

Really do like the tiny space it occupies as it's sort of a no fuss approach (although for a real slice shop whack some napkins and herb shakers on the counter for anyone to use).

For the price point it was a decent slice but F**K ME did they go heard on the pesto. Was not expecting it as walked in the door, looked up at the menu above my head, and ordered on. Was only when looking at why the thing was caked in pesto did I look back inside at the TV menu (worst invention of the 21st century) and noticed it said it there.

Next time will just.make sure to say sack throwing it on and maybe bake for like 20 seconds longer - but v hard to complain when it's £4

We rarely ever post something while we're in a place, but we're currently off site (i.e not in Belfast) sitting in in Bristol, with this fu***ng unreal vodka pie in front of us and pints.

It's a tiny wee shop that is absolutely cramped, people are on top of each other, it's like 21 degrees right now - it's absolute fu***ng pizza heaven.

So we were very very very fortunate to get to try out this past weekend, and let us tell you, it is the real fu***ng deal.

It's a beautiful space. That absolute S tier level pie from has picked up right where it left off, and it's honestly just such an eye opener for what a dedicated neighbourhood pizza joint can be - snacks of "aye Mon in and sit down for a bit" vibes.

That's them officially opened from today, and it's alarming just how much damage this is going to do our pizza budget going forwards. Tabs may need to be opened.

Found ourselves in Haymarket this week and someone ordered pizza to the table.
Ever look at something and go "this was made to solely feed a person, it can't bring joy" because would you like at this.

From whatever geometry was used in the pan it's baked in to the Dr.Oetker-esque crust you'd only be buying because it's clubcard price, it's mad to think that somewhere trying to be an activity hub in town is dishing this out.

(and let's not get started on the actual stock exchange thing that only entices binge ordering)
