There’s something different about being properly outside. 🌲
Not just passing through it, but spending time there. Making things. Learning skills. Cooking over fire. Sitting and talking. Waking up among the trees.
That’s a big part of what BushMoot is about.
Skills, fires, friends, woodland.
If you’ve been meaning to spend more time outdoors, perhaps it’s time to join us at a BushMoot.

What is it about being outside that does it for you?

🪓 **What's your favourite axe?**

A little carving axe, a trusty camp axe, or something bigger for splitting firewood?

There's something special about finding an axe that feels just right in your hands. It might be a beautiful handmade tool, an old favourite passed down through the family, or a battered workhorse that's served you well for years.

At BushMoot, we love seeing the tools people bring along, sharing skills and picking up a few tips around the campfire.

So, we'd love to know…

🪓 **What's your favourite axe, and what makes it special to you?**

Even better, pop a photo of yours in the comments. We'd love to see them!

Have you ever had a go on a pole lathe?

It’s one of those traditional skills that’s incredibly satisfying once you get into the rhythm of it — simple tools, green wood and a lot of feel.

This was at BushMoot, where people can watch, ask questions and have a go at skills like this for themselves.

What traditional woodworking skill do you enjoy most — or would most like to learn?
