Some collaborations are closer to home than you’d think. 🌿

Take the back roads from Dillarburn to The Stillhouse and this is the view — and soon, something rather special will be making that same journey.

We’re teaming up with our friends at Scottish Tea House and Ellis gin on an exciting new project, distilling with their beautiful Jasmine Dragon Pearl tea. Floral, fragrant, and unmistakably Scottish in spirit.

The Hugo has taken over — elderflower, mint, prosecco. Lighter and fresher than the bitter orange one. One problem: the classic has no backbone.

Meet the Biggar Hugo:
35ml Herbaceous Gin
15ml elderflower cordial
75ml chilled prosecco
A splash of soda
Fresh mint, slapped between your palms

Build over plenty of ice in a big w**e glass. Stir once. That’s it.

Herbaceous is the garden one in our range — greener and softer than Original, distilled one day a week at The Stillhouse, Biggar, in batches of 140 or fewer.

The Hugo Spritz has quietly taken over from the bitter orange one — elderflower, fresh mint, prosecco. Lighter, fresher, and it tastes of a garden. One problem: the classic has no backbone.

Add the right gin and it becomes a proper drink. Herbaceous — greener and softer than our Original, distilled one day a week at The Stillhouse in Biggar — was built for exactly this.

The Biggar Hugo: 35ml Herbaceous, 15ml elderflower cordial, 75ml chilled prosecco, a splash of soda, and a sprig of mint slapped between your palms. Plenty of ice, big w**e glass, stir once.

The first round consists of the following:

Min 40ml of either Biggar Spirits Navy Strength or Old Tom Gin Max 4 other ingredients

Garnish
Homemade ingredients are encouraged but not required

All entries must be in by end of day Thursday 25/09 via email

The final will take place on Monday 06/10

There will be prizes for the top 3 competitors, with the winner getting the opportunity to create their own limited edition Bartender’s Cut spirit with Biggar Spirits.
