We all need a little break every now and again… the pace of life, being back at work and juggling many balls again took its toll on me..

I had a great weekend in Swanage, my most favourite part of England and with so many special summer memories of our children growing up, Swanage carnival…the beach…Punch and Judy…the penny machines in the arcade..

Let’s not forget the food 😍Our first night was fish n chips and sharing a fish cake from the paper sitting on a bench by the sea… there really is nothing like it

Natural fresh strawberries flavour and coloured buttercream, soft vanilla sponge, strawberry Macarons filled with Strawberry buttercream and last but not least meringues.

What a way to celebrate a 16th Birthday. A cake fit for a beautiful young lady celebrating a milestone as she enters the next stage of life.

Love the colour of this cake? My tip...
I cut the outside seeded part of the strawberries off and saved for something else. You are left with the delicate flavour of strawberry and the pale colour.

Every cake I create is made with the individual in mind and I get so excited to receive an order and have the opportunity to personalise a cake for someone.
