What a day to be tempering chocolate!

Well this is very hefty Snickers cookie pie!
Look at that weight!!! 🏋️‍♀️

Inside is shortbread, snickers, home made chocolate ganache, home made caramel, salted peanuts.

It’s taken 3 days to make with multiple steps, chilling etc. Using home made fillings rather than shop bought jars gives better control over sweetness and flavour but it is VERY time consuming, so I am hoping this is a winner!

Currently making Guinness chocolate cake for this weekend. It looks AMAZING with almost a full pint of the black stuff in every cake!
(it has to be frozen before decoration - hence baking now)

Anyway, have you ever had it? what was it like? does the sound of it tempt you? Do we go with a vanilla cream filling and topping or ...... add a little touch of baileys to the cream???

I LOVE Guinness so will have to eat any left overs as Martin Bryceland tells me last night he doesn't like it (strange boy).

POSTAL TREAT BOXES WILL NOT BE POSTED IN THIS HEAT. NOTHING WILL SURVIVE.
I have foil backed insulation and I chill everything before sending on 24hr delivery service, but that won't be enough.
As soon as it is a little cooler, I will post them and keep you informed.
