A huge congratulations is in order for the absolute legends at , winner of the Birmingham pub of the year for the 4th year running!

Really well deserved for Sam, Paul and all the staff, they really make this place special!

Hop and Scotch has been our local for many years and they have supported us from the very beginning of our beer journey, we really can't thank you guys enough for all your support over the years!

I'll clear my calendar for about this time next year eh??

Who's had our new cask beer? 🍺

Hyperon is a 3.8% pale ale with Ahtanum, Belma & Chinook hops.
It's super smooth with honey notes up front, orangey citrus in the middle, then a bit of pine to finish.

Today we're going all the way to Leicester for a Tap Takeover at The Two-Tailed Lion!
We've got Hyperon (Pale Ale, 3.8%) on cask and That's No Moon... (Pale Ale, 4.5%), Momentum (West Coast IPA, 6.6%) and Antimatter (Stout, 7.2%) in keg and Chris will be there this evening if you want to chat beer!

Chris will be here from 5:30, but the beers are on now, they are bloody tasty!

Watch out Kings Heath, we’re having a clothes swap! 🤘

Start the new year off in style by joining us at Kings Heath community centre for a clothes swap fundraiser! You’ll be helping support the centre’s community share offer that closes on January 24th AND you’ll be doing your bit for the environment. It’s a win-win! 🌟

To keep us fed and watered we are joined by the brilliant Infinity Pizza and Infinity Brewing Company who will be supplying vegan pizzas and beers to our busy swappers 🍕

🧦 Bring up to 10 good quality, clean items of clothing (especially inclusive sizes, menswear and baby clothes)
🧦 Exchange each item for one ticket, then swap your tickets for your new items
🧦 Anything can be purchased for £2 if you have nothing to swap or you would like to take home extra

All money raised from entrance fees and clothing sales will go directly towards the community centre Crowdfunder.

Bring your friends, family, pizza lovers, fashion icons and that coat that hasn’t been worn in 10 years- we want to see it all there!

We have got a situation!

We're going be at all the events we're scheduled to be at this weekend but it's going to cost us about One Million Dollars for repairs, van hire etc.

Where to find us in December!

A little bit late, so hopefully you managed to find us last weekend!

This weekend we've got another busy one.

🍺 Saturday 13th December
On Saturday we'll be part of Digbeth Christmas Market. Taking place at new Digbeth venue, , there'll be the usual fantastic selection of some of the finest local independents, beers from us and cocktails from , a record fair, street food, music and more! Book your (free) ticket via the link to get a free mulled wine on arrival!
12pm - 8pm

🍺 Saturday 13th December
Also on Saturday we're off down to Bristol for Bristol Vegan Christmas Market with a packed trader list of vegan food & drink traders, gifts, clothing & charities. There'll also be family fun and live music! We'll have beer on draught and pizza.
10am - 4pm

🍺 Sunday 14th December
And finally, on Sunday it's the final Kings Heath Artisan Market of the year. It's a Christmas special with a brass band and dance performances on York Road, and loads of other stuff happening around the Heath!
Come and get some hand-crafted Xmas gifts and bring the family for a fun packed day out!

Our dark mild 'Perspective' is back! Cask only.

There was an International Stout Day and no-one told us?!

We've got a couple of stouts around at the moment:

🖤 Event Horizon 2.0 (6.0%) is our core stout. It pours almost jet black and has a roasty coffee and dark chocolate character. It's a classic!

🖤 Wander (5.3%) is our Pecan & Maple stout. Reminiscient of a pecan danish, it's nutty and just sweet enough!

🖤 Antimatter (7.2%) is our latest creation. With 5 different dark malts and experimental hop HBC 472 it's thick with notes of oak and rum. Delicious!

🖤 Maelstrom (12%) is a aged with tonka beans, vanilla pods and roasted cacao to give a complex and velvety texture. Available in 750ml sharer bottle it'd be a great Christmas gift for someone special or yourself!

Available from us direct (not Event Horizon, we're sold out!) or check out your local bottle shop. It they don't stock us give them a nudge?!
