Hickory's Follow Up Post 🍖🍗

Here's a follow up post to the last one I made!
On my birthday I went to for dinner and had a selection of food. Overall, it was pretty good and it was decently priced too!

📸: Baby Back Ribs - this is what my father, brothers, and I ordered it was good overall, big portion sizes for the price, however it was a little salty I'd give it a ⚙⚙⚙ out of 5
Mac and Cheese -my sister ordered this she said it was decent and would give it a ⚙⚙⚙ and a half out of 5
My mother ordered beef ribs which I unfortunately don't have a photo of, but it was so good!! My favourite out of what we ordered and I'd give it a ⚙⚙⚙⚙ out of 5.
We so ordered some starters to share, which consisted of nachos and chicken wings which were both good! The chicken wings were my favourite out of the two, but I was disappointed a little in the portion size of the nachos for the price paid.

Lastly the drinks, I ordered a blueberry lemonade which was so so good!! Absolutely delicious, my sister also ordered a grape soda which was amazing too, highly recommend!

Overall, the experience was good and I'd rate it a ⚙⚙⚙ and a half out of 5! I also loved the ambience which added to it all!

Milkshakes!!! 🥛

Yesterday was my birthday and my family and I went out for dinner! We went to a restaurant called which had AMAZING milkshakes!!! I fell in love with them, and would go back for these alone!!!
The price was a bargain for the quality of the drinks made! LIQUID HEAVEN!!

Highly recommend!!

Pork Katsu Curry 🍛🥩

Hey! A new post here!
Yesterday I made a katsu curry for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! Perfect flavours, and instead of using chicken I used a pork loin for something different from the usual chicken katsu that I would usual buy!

Unfortunately I didn't have any sticky rice, so I just used plain basmati rice. And the brand I used for the curry sauce was . Their products are always a failsafe for me when trying out new recipes!
For the sauce, I followed the directions on the box, finely dice an onion, stir fry for 5 minutes before adding 300ml of water and half of the curry cubes. Stir until thickened.
For the pork I seasoned it really simply; salt, black pepper, and mixed herbs, before coating in flour dipping in a beaten egg, and then coating in panko breadcrumbs!
Gave the pork an extra crisp!! I then pan fried and served with the rice and curry sauce!!

Was so good and delicious! I was actually blown away by the instant curry cubes, was not expecting it to taste so high quality!!

A ⚙⚙⚙⚙⚙ out of 5 !

Galvin at Windows 🪟

This was a fine dining restaurant, ; I went to with my family for my sister's birthday lunch!

It was a 3 course set menu priced at £55 per person which tasted absolutely amazing!! I loved the atmosphere so much, especially being so high up in the air, the view was simply amazing!

📸: Honesty I can't remember what I ordered, we went back in June, but what I do remember is that I loved every minute of that experience, and it's somewhere I'd visit again, given the chance.

Highly recommend, super friendly staff, excellent service, and the manager on duty that day was very accommodating! A ⚙⚙⚙⚙⚙ out of 5!!

Chicken Pasta 🍗🍝

A quick snapshot of what I had for lunch.

A very simply tasty chicken on the bone pasta. Was so good and I would 100 percent eat again! I sometimes surprise myself at the taste of some of these quick meals 😋

Instant Noodles 🍜🌶

Here's just a quick snap of some instant Noodles I had yesterday!
The brand was Champong Spicy Noodles!
As someone who loves Noodles this brand always hits and never fails me!

The egg yolk mixes beautifully into the sauce and it just improved the taste even more!!

A solid ⚙⚙⚙⚙⚙ out of 5!!

Sunday Morning 🌄

Heya everyone! Just a simple post of a breakfast my sister and I shared the other morning.

It was so simple and refreshing and I had to share it with you guys!

All items I bought from at a really decent price, highly recommend all items!!

Cafe Rouge ☕🟥
My little sister came down to visit me in Birmingham and we spent the days eating out and doing activities. One of the places we went to was !

Personally I thought that the food was okay, it wasn't anything particularly special, but the portions were generous and the food was still good.

3.French Onion Soup
I would have to say the best item we had was the moules, it was a whole 1kg in cream and garlic sauce, tasty and leaving you very full.

The overall experience I'd rate a ⚙⚙⚙ out of 5, because I have been to a lot of fantastic restaurants before, and I'd say this is just good, above average.
