Banana Tree, Birmingham City Centre 🍜

📝 : A similar price point to some of the other 10/10 ‘Pan- Asian’ food options in Birmingham City Centre, such as my all time fave Siamais but minus the boujee ambiance.

However, if you are looking for just a quick causal bite during your shopping break, Banana Tree is a decent tasting option with a range of menu items. Both items were not bland and were generous portions.

The standout item out of what was ordered had to be the Teriyaki Steak Soba.

📝 : AD| have opened a new restaurant in Sutton Coldfield which is family run ✨Make this your new takeaway spot if you are local.

🍽️: ▪️Korean Beef Pizza - the beef is more of milder spicy beef but it also has a sweet taste to it which I enjoyed. The pizza also includes spring onions, chilli and sesame seeds. This was my favourite choice due to the combined flavours.

▪️Royale Pizza (V) - with every Royale pizza, 50p is donated to Cool Earth! This has buffalo mozzarella, pesto, sun blushed tomatoes and rocket. This was a salty pizza but the buffalo cheese, mozzarella and pesto are the culprits for this.

▪️Oreo Dough Balls - if you are trying to be a skinny mini these are NOT for you 🙈the ingredients are essentially dough, butter, icing sugar and then topped with Oreo’s and white chocolate drizzle. But they are a nice sweet treat after your pizza.

▪️Season Potato Wedges- can you go wrong with wedges?!

The Den serves Fresh brunch options and has the friendliest of staff. The indoor seating is limited however they also have a beer garden where you can continue to have your hot or cold drinks.

The food menu does seem limited however I assume this is on purpose to get people in and out and not over complicate orders.

Is this Digbeth’s Hidden Gem?💎

📝 : Hanbao is known for its enormous burgers and it has always been on my list to try out.
The restaurant interior is beautiful, with an industrial aesthetic, neon signs and some green features. It is the perfect spot for drinks with friends or date night.

The food on the other hand was so disappointing 🙃 both me and my friend could not even finish our burgers. The meat in the burgers is so thick but unseasoned which makes it hard to consume. I feel that they include a lot of sauces in the burgers in hopes that it will bring the flavour but unfortunately, as the meat is such a big part of the burgers the sauces are just not enough.
The loaded fries on the other hand, are a shout and if I were to go back i would reorder the Tiger Style loaded fries. I also really enjoyed the drinks!

🍽️: ▪️Ceasers Palace £14.50 - This is essentially meant to be a ceaser salad burger but the chicken had no flavour at all despite being so thick.
▪️O.D.B £10.50
▪️Miso Dirty £7.25
▪️Tiger Style £8.00 - these (and the above) were the loaded fries which were so tasty and were also a large portion. Definitely the stand out item.

📝 : A local cafe located in south west Birmingham which offers breakfast and lunch.

I love that their menu offers a variety of options including ‘The Island Brunch’ which is a Carribean breakfast.

Overall the breakfast was standard but definitely a breakfast you can enjoy however at this point I feel like I’m a brunch connoisseur and this just did not wow us. It also was not very good value for your money. Unfortunately I will not be running back.

Analipsi’s gorgeous beach front restaurant 🤍😍

📝 : If you’re on holiday in Crete, you will want to try this beautiful restaurant! The decor, food and service is all 10 out of 10. One thing I love about Greek food is how FRESH it tastes.
