Introducing Street Food Carousel

A new street food circuit connecting towns across County Durham.

Street Food Carousel brings together a series of regular street food events into one touring programme, creating a monthly rhythm of great food, great atmosphere and some of the best independent traders in the North East.

Each town hosts the Carousel on its own night, creating a county wide circuit of street food evenings across the season.

Expect fantastic traders, buzzing town centres, music, drinks and brilliant street food from across the region. 🎶🍟

The Carousel travels across the county throughout the season, bringing together returning favourites and new traders at every stop including Bishop Auckland and Stanley. 🌭🍕

We’re already speaking with councils and civic organisations across the region about bringing Street Food Carousel to more towns. Want to see it in your area? Ask your local county or parish councillors to get in touch with us.

Street Food Carousel is designed not just as a food event, but as a proven model for town centre regeneration and supporting local economies. 🌟🏙️
