Ziggy was the National Champ Light male in 2024 and we are excited to see his first cria on the ground - aptly named Dark Sky Zigglette.

Sancerre and Shiraz had read the birthing text book - born at 12:35, up, feeding and on walkabout in less than an hour 💥

Fabulous day as always at the North Somerset Show and we were absolutely delighted to be awarded Champion Fawn Female and Supreme Suri Champion with Dark Sky Whispering Angel (Sire: Dark Sky El Niño, Dam: Dark Sky Hnoss) 🏆

Also very proud of our other Suri champions

Well it was Cornish Bank Holiday weather 🙃 but nothing phased the CCA show team, the judges or the exhibitors and the first ‘official’ Cornwall Halter Show was great!

We were delighted to be awarded Reserve Supreme Suri with Dark Sky Whispering Angel and are pleased to report our other champion sashes and rosettes are now dried out on the Aga!

Huge thanks to Alex and Hannah for leading the show team and a special shout out to the whole Little Acorn family and Tom for putting up (and taking down!) the marquee which turned out to be essential!! Also to Griggs for allowing us use of their venue and Michael who joined to present the Reserve Champion sashes.

Congratulations to the Supreme Winners Classical Mile End and Winsaula and to Snowshill with the Reserve Supreme Huacaya - and to all the exhibitors for your results.

It was great to have Caroline judge the show as her inaugural outing and to welcome
Mary-Jo back to Cornwall - we enjoyed your candid judging and great sense of humour throughout the day.

Finally, thank you to all who came and to the whole CCA team for getting the show on the road 🙂
