When you're going for a beer or some food today, think about the independent places you can visit.
The ones where the money the place earns goes toward local people and keeps communities alive. The folks that produce their own beer or buy local.
It's great going to 'Spoons and having a cheap pint and a meal, I understand money is tight for a lot of folk.
But when you go a chain place like that who benefits? Not the little breweries that supply them, they have to sell low to get the product in there. Not local food suppliers because everything is msss produced and frozen.

Since Christmas we've lost the amazing BitterSuite. It got bought by a chain which will make it a generic footnote in their property porfolio.

Let's not lose others.

So get out there. Visit the taprooms and pubs that are independent, eat at the streetfood vendors who love what they do and serve decent food not mass produced.

This is something we do for a bit of fun, and Leviathan host us.
Irish whiskey is a real passion of mine so to be able to gas on about it in a curated group tasting is wicked!
We've opened up the last couple of reserve spots so feel free to join us.

This is something we do for a little bit of fun. Leviathan Brewing host us regularly for a guided whiskey tasting. Burns Night was a wonderful evening and we're hoping St. Pats will be too! They may have cancelled the parade, but we'll still have the craic!

Absolutely gutted to see this. The BitterSuite has been one of my favourite pubs since before lockdown. We had the pleasure of doing streetfood there on one of the most stormy days of last year.
Another reminder to support you local. What a loss to the community and the beer scene. what are you doing to support!?
