With over 14 years of experience across the Irish and Scottish spirits industries, Will’s career has spanned every stage of single malt production, from raw material sourcing and distillation through to maturation and site logistics.

Will is committed to protecting the heritage of Glencadam Distillery and continuing our dedication to traditional craftsmanship, with handcrafting remaining at the heart of production.

The Glencadam team is proud to support our Production Supervisor, David Wilson, as he takes on the West Highland Way Race – a 96-mile ultramarathon from Milngavie to Fort William.

David is raising money for the MPS Society after learning about Ben, a five-year-old boy living with Sanfilippo syndrome (MPS IIIA), a rare condition often described as childhood dementia.

We’re proud to announce that Glencadam Distillery Visitor Centre is now fully open seven days a week.

Following a recent recruitment drive which has expanded the team ahead of summer, guests can now enjoy tours, tastings, shopping and our café daily, with breakfast launching from 1st June.

Located within one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries, the visitor centre offers a warm welcome in the heart of Angus.

From distillery tours and tutored tastings to relaxing in the Whisky Lounge or enjoying freshly prepared meals, coffee and cake in the café, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Glencadam Distillery Visitor Centre.

Four gold medals have been secured at the 2026 International Spirits Challenge for Glencadam.

 Our award-winning products are Glencadam 10 Year old, Reserva PX, 18 Year Old and our brand new 17 Year Old Réserve de Calvados.
 
Our teams’ consistency and care in production are reflected in consecutive wins for Glencadam Reserva PX and 18 Year Old, which have been awarded a gold medal from ISC for the 3rd year running.
 
We are also delighted that our recently released Glencadam 17 Years Old Réserve de Calvados has been recognised with a gold medal in its first-ever competition.

Did you know that Glencadam Reserva Andalucía was recognised in Forbes Magazine’s Scotch Whisky Honor Roll in 2025?

Forbes described the single malt as “creamy on the palate, with Sherry notes of golden raisins, salted almonds, marzipan, caramel apple, ginger, and assorted wood spices. The finish is long, sweet, and sherried with lingering notes of honey, brown sugar, and green tea.”

This expression has been continually recognised at global spirits competitions for its taste, with 11 gold medal wins over the last four years across three international competitions: International Wine & Spirit Competition, International Spirits Competition and Scotch Whisky Masters.
