CS BACKHOUSE – RAWCLIFFE BRIDGE, GOOLE.
An opportunity has arisen for an arable operator/general farm worker on a progressive and varied farm business. Year-round duties to include spraying, field work, relief cover on composting site, bagging potatoes, 360 digger work, workshop and property maintenance.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, reliable and able to work individually or as part of a team. Full driving license and good communication skills essential. Workshop skills an advantage. Agricultural experience preferred, however training will be given to the right candidate.
We run a varied range of machinery. We tend to buy as new as we can and keep for a long time.
Year round workload means we work standard 45 hours (6 hours overtime every week) but we don’t work stupid hours when busy max (75-80), Sundays are optional and very infrequent.
Wage appropriate to age and experience. Workplace pension and holidays part of a competitive package.
