Who would have thought that making a batch of caramelised red onion chutney would be so emotional, my eyes so need a rest now for 10 minutes after chopping 2 kgs of red onions 😂🥲

Coming to OddBits at Brighouse open market, tomato and beetroot chutney, a chunky tangy chutney to accompany and cheese, sliced red meat, smoked salmon or simply use as an accompaniment for your favourite sandwich.

Available from tomorrow, small batch available, all made locally in Lightcliffe.

I make the best jams and chutneys in the local area, all to my own recipe using the finest ingredients.

Available from OddBits on Brighouse market are my small batch preserves.

They have in stock:-

Tomato and green chilli chutney
Piccalilli
Rhubarb and gooseberry jam
Plum and cinnamon jam

More stock and variety will be arriving soon, all made in Lightcliffe by me, using the finest ingredients and an old fashioned recipe passed down through the generations.

The stall is open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Another batch of Jam made for OddBits on Brighouse market to stock in there kiosk, available from Wednesday 12th August.

This plum and cinnamon jam has a little twist, not only is it suitable for your bog standard toast or crumpets but it also goes amazing paired with a hard cheese of your choice on a cracker.

I always use the finest ingredients, my preserves not only taste amazing but are packaged traditionally to look appealing to the eye too.

I use traditional methods passed down by my late mum to create the best you will find.

I must confess though, I made 8 jars but I’ve kept one for me, it’s the jam makers prerogative ❤️

Come and try some local fruity goodness, don’t have what you want?….. orders for jams and chutneys can be placed with Debs at the stall.

All preserves are £5, bring back the empty jar and lid and get 10% of your next one.
