Well, it’s time to hang up my apron folks.
After 13 years, I’ve decided to close the business.
Being a cake baker has a unique type of pressure. When my heart stopped during a seizure, within 2 days I was up and making wedding cakes again because I didn’t want to let people down. Since then, I have only had 2 days off despite my cardiologist telling me to slow down.
I feel like this is a natural time to step down and focus on my mental and physical well being as well as spending more time with my son and partner.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the years, it’s been a pleasure to be a part of all of your lives ❤️
I will no longer be taking on orders, but all of those orders I have in the next few months are more than safe! I look forward to making them all.
