Why have your own apples pressed ?

Because your fresh, cloudy, unfiltered apple juice keeps the good stuff that many shop bought apple juice filter out.

That natural cloudiness is where the polyphenols live — the plant antioxidants that apples are known for.

No concentrate. No added sugar. No preservatives. Just your apples pressed.

‘Juice My Apples’ based at Malthouse Lodge Farm in Brinkworth, SN15 5DA opens on 3rd September for apple pressing, pasteurising and bottling of your apples.

How to pick and store your Apples before pressing.

Pick your apples from the outside of the tree inward, never tug or shake the branch, and set your best fruit aside for pressing. One bruised apple really can spoil the barrel.

Cup the apple in your palm. Twist gently upward until it comes away — stalk and all. Lay it (don't drop it) into a padded crate
Bruised apples oxidise fast and can turn juice bitter — so handle them with care. The golden rule is cup, twist, lift.

Store your apples in a cool, dark and airy place until you have enough to bring them to us for pressing. Stalks up, not touching, in a single layer is ideal.

Pick and store them correctly and you'll taste it later.
