Dairy Free Ice Cream fresh from Johnny’s Kitchen

Johnny has experience working as a chef worldwide in well-established kitchens. From this experience, he decided to go solo and start up an events company called ‘Melican’s events’. One of his clients wanted a lactose-free dinner with ice cream as a dessert. So after months of research in the wholesale market there was nothing on offer. Moreover, in retail all of the lactose-free ice creams were too commercial. Therefore, Johnny invested many months in creating this product for the event. After the dinner for 600 people, everybody was in awe of what Johnny had created and persuaded him to sell this ice cream.

Johnny then soon realised that there was a gap in the market for his ice cream, counting for over 30 percent of the UK population, ie. 61 million people. Worldwide, this was on a much greater scale. Consequently, Johnny’s vision is motivated not only by his passion for the product but more importantly the great feedback that he has received from clients alone. The objective of this product is simple, to provide lactose intolerant people with a luxury and affordable product that gives them the opportunity to taste delicious ice cream.

His process of making ice cream is rather unique, differentiating itself from other commercial competitors. The ice cream not only relies on natural ingredients to taste so good, but also the texture of the product itself is creamy which leaves clients amazed by the fact that Johnny’s brand is dairy-free.

Therefore, Johnny is here today to not only promote a product that is needed in the market but also to tell his story.
