We’re looking for volunteers to join our Hoppy team, supporting our award-winning (ahem!) care home sessions.

We provide full training and cover expenses, so all you need to bring is yourself.

Over the last two weeks, we’ve kicked off a new season of Hoppiness sessions in care homes. The first sessions introduced the project through reminiscence activities and gardening, and include planting a hop rhizome in each garden. 🌿

This year, we’re thrilled to be working with five care homes - a significant increase from the past three years of Hoppiness. Plenty of stories have already been shared, but the highlight so far was meeting David at Glebe House - he and his wife used to grow hops in their back garden and brew their own b**r in the kitchen. We’re looking forward to picking David’s brains over the coming growing and harvesting seasons! 🍺
