Another year of Bristol Seafood Week done, and what a week it was. 🦀🐟
The purpose of Bristol Seafood Week has always been simple: to celebrate the incredible seafood we have on our doorstep and to showcase how sustainable, fresh British seafood can be transformed into something truly special by the talented chefs across Bristol and the South West.
This year, more than 30 venues took part. Some hosted dedicated Bristol Seafood Week events, created special menus, or simply championed more seafood and fish dishes on their menu throughout the week.
There’s something pretty special about Bristol coming together like this. Independent restaurants, pubs, chefs, suppliers and diners all supporting one another to promote a positive food culture for our city.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Seafood Feasts, dined at one of the participating venues, made and wore a fish hat, shared a post, or simply got behind what Bristol Seafood Week is all about. Every bit of support helps celebrate our amazing coastal produce and the people who work so hard to bring it to our plates.
Here’s to doing it all again next year. 🦞💙
