In Uganda Sugarcane juice is cheap! This is because it grows in the country and is in abundance. 1litre is around £1.50 , it’s the same in most countries that it grows you’ll find it’s really cheap! The cost on our side comes from importing it via airfreight which is calculated by weight so you can imagine how much it costs when importing 1.5 tonnes.

This juice was beetroot orange and ginger and was amazing made by the guys in the video who were from Sudan and Uganda:

On my last visit to Uganda I got to taste sugarcane mixed with Ginseng aka Malondo in Uganda 🇺🇬

I had never seen what ginseng looked like before let alone tatsed it but these are the benefits of travelling

This was just before we flew back to the UK and I bought some back to experiment with 🎋😊
