🎃 PUMPKIN PATCH PREPARATIONS HAVE BEGUN! 🎃

It’s officially September, the kids are heading back to school this week after a very busy six weeks of summer holidays, and that can only mean one thing…

Our attention is now turning to our Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch! 👻🎃🍂

Our pumpkin patch will be opening at the end of September, but this year there’s a little twist…

☀️ We’ve had some unusually hot weather, and some of our pumpkins have started ripening earlier than we’ve ever seen before!

So, if we can get everything ready in time, we’re hoping for our earliest ever opening date! 🤞🎃

Don’t worry though — we’ve still got plenty of pumpkins yet to ripen, which means we’re planning to keep the patch going right up until Halloween. 🎃👻

Hopefully that means better weather AND an extended spooky season… WIN WIN! 🧡

Pumpkin patch season is without a doubt our favourite time of year at the farm.

There’s something pretty special about seeing the patch come to life and welcoming all of you back for muddy boots, wheelbarrows, pumpkins, photos and plenty of spooky fun! 🍂🎃

And the work has already begun! 🚜💪

After an incredibly busy summer, we’re throwing ourselves into getting everything ready for you.

There are going to be plenty of long days of farm work, pumpkin picking and preparation over the next few weeks, but it’s already looking fantastic and we can’t wait for you to see it!

So, if you don’t hear quite as much from us on social media over the next few weeks, please don’t think we’ve disappeared! 😂

We’ll just be busy behind the scenes making sure the pumpkin patch is ready to give you all an incredible spooky season. 🎃🧡

As soon as we know our opening date, we’ll let you know and get the tickets online so you can book your spot.

🐄 FARM EXPERIENCE SESSIONS 🚜

Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes on a working farm?

Now’s your chance to come along and experience a little bit of farm life for yourself! 🐮🌾

Our Farm Experience Sessions give you a behind-the-scenes look at what we get up to every day, including:
🐄 Watch our cows being milked
🥛 Help feed our calves
🐐 Help give the animals in The Little Meadow their breakfast
🚜 Sit on our tractor and get some photos!

⏰ Sessions start at 8am and last around 45 minutes, although they can sometimes take a little longer.

📅 Available dates:
• Tuesday 25th August
• Friday 28th August
• Saturday 29th August
• Monday 31st August – Bank Holiday
• Tuesday 1st September

🎟️ £16 per person

Everyone attending must have their own ticket, including children.

We have very limited space in the milking parlour, so please don’t bring anyone along who hasn’t purchased a ticket as unfortunately we won’t have room for extra people.

⚠️ A few important things to know:
• Minimum age is 3 years old
• Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult
• There is a short walk around the farmyard, so we don’t recommend the experience for anyone with poor mobility
• Please arrive early. If you arrive late, you may miss some of the activities
• All animals can carry and spread diseases, so thorough handwashing after animal contact is VERY important. We’ll show you where the handwashing facilities are – please make sure you use them. 🧼

This is a fantastic opportunity to see what life is really like on a working farm and get involved with some of the jobs we do every day! 🐄💚

It looks like we’ve got two lovely sunny days left, so why not make the most of them and come and see us at Pencoed Fach Farm? 🌻🐄

🐐 The Little Meadow is open and ready for you to come and meet some of our animals, with animal feed available to make friends with our hungry residents!

🥛 The Littlest Dairy is open as usual, with all your farm favourites waiting for you — fresh Organic milk, milkshakes, ice cream, coffees, fresh lemonade, cold drinks and plenty more! 🍦🥤🍋

Fancy spending your Sunday morning with one of our four-legged friends? 🥰
