Evening everyone.

SumUp, our payment platform, is having some technical difficulties which means taking card payments is intermittent, at best.

If you're coming in for a drink tonight then please try and bring cash as we can't guarantee that a card payment will go through successfully.

The nearest cash point is either Tesco or One Stop on William Street.

The problem is being worked on and will hopefully be resolved very soon.

We've got a new brew on the hand pumps to kick things off in the build up to the weekend.

Returning to the Dog House, it's Field + Theory Brewing with their 5.2% Echo Strata IPA.

A hop forward IPA shaped by season and freshness, allowing the hop blend to subtly evolve over time.

Tasting notes: Candied fruit and tropical notes with a gentle herbal edge sit on a soft rounded mouthfeel.

We're open from 5:30pm if you want to swing by for a post-work pint 🍻

Thank you to everyone who came in over the weekend, Saturday's Howl at the Moon DJ night was a particular highlight!

The summer is just getting started so here's a look ahead at the other great events we've got on in June.

Thursday 18th - Quiz Night (7:30pm)

Sunday 21st - Paws & Pints. (1:30pm) Our social dog walk is growing in popularity, come along with your four legged friend for a relaxed walk followed by some great drinks.

Saturday 27th - Live Music with Stu Joslin (6:30pm) Stu Joslin is a Chippenham-based international musician known for barnstorming shows at local venues like The Three Crowns and events such as the Chippenham Beer Festival. Expect unique versions of well known hits (and some not so well known hits) from across the decade.

We're planning some new events too so keep an eye out for those announcements.

Come on down from 2pm onwards and bring your favourite cheese to enjoy and share with your fellow cheese fans.

The last of the Daisy Belle and Fettlers Finest has been reduced to £2 a bottle or £10 for a case of 12.

They're just past their best before but still tasting as great as ever, we just want to send them to a good home before they are truly past their best.

We're open from 5:30 if you want to pop in to have a pint and buy some bottles 🍻
