We’ve got some good news... our Flourish Produce Boxes are back!

A lot of you have been asking when they’d return, and we’re so pleased to say we’re packing boxes again this week.

It’s been a bit of a waiting game this spring, but the recent rain and cooler weather have given our crops the boost they needed. The fields are finally starting to deliver the abundance of early summer produce we’ve been waiting for.

To celebrate, we’re giving you 10% off your next box with the code WELCOMEBACK10.

You naaaaame it 🌱🍅🥒

Here at Flourish, we grow over 750 varieties of vegetables, salads, fruit and heritage grains.

Our farm shop shelves are starting to fill with the very first cucumbers and courgettes of the season… and it won’t be long before our famous cherry tomatoes are here in abundance too 🍅✨

We are looking for a delivery driver for our small business delivering our organic produce to our wonderful customers in London.

There are 2-4 night shifts available per week, leaving our farm in the evenings at 10pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday and Friday nights. Occasionally there will be more shifts available to cover annual leave.

There are two parts to this role:

• Delivering to restaurants/florist customers in London (Monday, Wednesday and Friday night)
• Delivering fresh produce boxes door to door to home cooks in London and the local Cambridge area (Thursday night)

The routes tend to be between 6-10 hours long depending on the time of year, sometimes they are longer.

Candidates must be experienced drivers and be able to drive, reverse and park our refrigerated Luton Van. This is a relatively physically demanding job involving lifting and carrying, so we are looking for someone who is fit and active. When delivering to restaurants you will be responsible for unpacking at the customer locations (instructions provided) and for locking and unlocking venues/alarms/codes.

Hourly rate will start from £16.50 per hour

Brightening up your feed this Sunday morning with the last of the Ranunculus 🌸

If you’ve noticed fewer flowers in the farm shop lately, this is why…

After a Spring filled with weeks of very dry weather on the farm, we have now dealt with a mix of extreme heat, cold snaps and late frosts - making this year’s seasonal “hungry gap” feel particularly pronounced.

Many of our spring blooms have now come to an end, and we’re in the in-between stage while the next wave of seasonal flowers gets ready to bloom. Thank you for bearing with us while nature catches up - we can’t wait to fill the shop with fresh flowers again very soon 💐

That said, there is still plenty of beauty coming through: strawberries are flying off the farm shop shelves and we’re looking forward to welcoming cucumbers and courgettes in the next few weeks.

PRODUCE BOX UPDATE ⬇️

The weather this spring has been particularly challenging for us growers. A long period of drought, followed by unexpected late frosts, has slowed many of our summer crops just as we’d hoped to begin harvesting them in abundance. Because of this, and in keeping with our commitment to truly seasonal, locally grown produce, we’ve paused our Flourish Produce Boxes for a few weeks while the fields and tunnels catch up.

We’re planning to return from the week commencing 8th June, with boxes full of summer favourites - tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, peppers, and fragrant basil varieties galore. Set yourself a reminder and be first in line for the season’s best produce 🍅

Until then, thank you so much for supporting regenerative, seasonal farming through all the unpredictability that comes with it.
