We are still trying to take in what happened at the Cardiff Italian Festival ๐ฎ๐น ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ
More than 1,000 people came through the doors โ far beyond anything we expected for our very first festival. Seeing so many families, friends, Italians, Welsh people and lovers of Italian culture together under one roof was something truly special.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single person who came and supported us. You were the most important part of the day. โค๏ธ
A huge thank you also goes to all our food traders, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, performers, artists, entertainers, volunteers, photographers, suppliers, everyone working behind the scenes, Tiger Yard and every person who helped make this day possible.
So many people gave their time, energy, products, experience and support to help us create something that started simply as an idea โ bringing a little piece of Italy to Cardiff and celebrating Italian food, business, music, culture and community together. ๐ฎ๐น๐ด
We also want to say something openly.
This was our first ever festival.
We know that with more than 1,000 people attending, there were things we could have done differently and things we can improve. If anyone expected something different from the day, or if something did not meet your expectations, we genuinely apologise.
We listened, we learned, and we will take everything from this first experience to make the next one even better.
But one thing is certain: the incredible turnout showed us just how much love there is in Wales for Italian food, culture and community.
To see the venue so full, to hear the music, see children enjoying themselves, families spending the day together, people discovering new businesses and everyone sharing this Italian atmosphere was more than we could have hoped for.

This was only the first Cardiff Italian Festivalโฆ and what a beginning it was.
