General information
Over the years the farms of Scotland have been a Mecca for enthusiasts seeking out a myriad of PSVs from across the length and breadth of the UK which had gravitated North of the border in order to ferry agricultural workers to their place of employ. We see one such vehicle here. It is a Daimler CG6 with 65 seat body by Weymann and was new to Chesterfield Corporation in late 1965 as No.266. By 1980 it was operating for Alexander of Arbroath (t/a Greyhound) in Scotland and it subsequently passed to John P. Gray & Son of Auchrennie Farm, Carnoustie in Angus. It is whilst with them that we see it here. Unlike many buses which were driven to destruction in the countryside this bus still exists and is currently being restored to its former glory.
